Mission Support

This section summarizes a few of the NASA missions that the Navigation and Mission Design Branch (NMDB) supports encompassing past, present, and future missions. NMDB provides support to flight projects in all stages of development. Some of the support included participation in the Integrated Design Center (IDC) and overall management responsibility of the Flight Dynamics Facility (FDF).

The list of missions to the left comprises some of the missions we are currently supporting, or have recently supported. The missions are subdivided into two categories: Flight Projects and Study Missions. Flight projects refer to those missions which have been approved and are under development or have been launched. Study Missions are future missions which are in the concept phase and seeking project approval. Click on a mission name for more details.
