Navigation and Missioon Design Branch (NMDB) requires models for a number of different dynamic and measurement processes. Some of the more prominent models used are:

• Solar, Lunar, & Planetary (SLP) ephemerides based upon the JPL DE models
• Shatten solar flux predict models which predict the levels of the next solar flux cycle
• Skymap star catalogues

Other models include atmospheric refraction models, gravitational potential models for various solar system bodies, and atmospheric density models. These models are available from the FDAB by request.
